ORGANIC RANKINE CYCLE SYSTEMS (ORC)

 

The Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC) uses a high molecular organic fluid, this fluid has a lower boiling point than water, which allows it to recover heat from low temperature sources such as liquid waste heat, geothermal heat and exhaust flue gases from chimneys. The low boiling point of this fluid makes it possible to produce steam from the recovered heat waste to drive a special designed turbine and create electricity.

 

There are different companies in Mexico and Central America in different branches of industries that can use this technology. Different ranges of ORC-modules will be chosen according to the client’s needs and the type of their heat waste that needs to be recovered.
